Retin-A (tretinoin) is a strong drug treatment of acne, and is derived from vitamin A. It is available in cream form or freeze on prescription and is also known as Retin-A Micro, Avita, Renova, and Tretinoin generic. It is used to treat all degrees acne, and has more effect on those with acne comedones (blackheads and whiteheads mostly).
